time is not running out

new clouds. new rain. new wind.
time moving slowly, and time beginning
floating across the sky in yellow.
Time is coming.

the grass whispers in the shadows
of morning.
the grass whispers in fading light.
always alert to the ever.

leaves and bark,
discarded
reform.

one poem

we are the five legged people.
we have one voice.
we walk in sunshine
we ignore the rain.
the wind sweeps across our necks
as the mist retreats behind rocks
and into other lost places.

the jungle is a pattern we comprehend
its breathing a chorus,
a vibration we follow
and salt upon,
preserving our passions
within its jaws.

and behind windows
and behind doors
shadows and sunlight intermingle
on paths, leading a twilight
we cannot ignore
moving across in each motion.
